Artists on the CSB Productions label:
Cheikh Sidi Bemol Productions (CSB Prod) is a record label set up in 2003 within the Association L'Usine, an Algerian-French artists' collective founded by Sidi Bemol, L'Orchestre National de Barbès and Gaâda Diwane de Béchar. When CSB Productions was set up, its ambition was limited to producing albums by the founding group and a few artist friends. 20 years later, through partnerships, the catalogue has grown, ignoring aesthetic and geographical boundaries.

  • Sidi Bemol

Surprising by the richness of his music, Sidi Bémol (a.k.a. Hocine Boukella or Cheikh for the fans) is the composer of fusion : between modernity and tradition, between chaabi, gnawa, blues and rock, Berberic and Celtic music. Changing languages over the albums -Arabic, Kabyle, French and English-, his texts are meaningful, successively poetic, nostalgic, critical, humorous. He depicts society with much tenderness and lucidity...

  • Maria Teresa

An interpreter of all popular songs, Maria Teresa's voice is warm and clear, with a serene gentleness tinged with gravity that penetrates to the very depths of the soul. Her kindness, modesty, gentleness and strength are as touching as she is touching herself...

  • L'Odyssée de Fulay

L'Odyssée de Fulay, Chants Berbères Antiques is a musical tale. A fantastic tale punctuated by the songs of a troubadour accompanied by two musicians. It's a tale of legends and mythology... where we learn that the Greek gods came to Berberia.

  • L'Attirail

L'Attirail was founded in 1994 by Xavier Demerliac and Jean-Stéphane Brosse. The group invented an imaginary acoustic music without frontiers or roots, but with multiple influences (Nino Rota, Ennio Morricone...).

L'Attirail's albums are conceived as musical road-movies, invitations to travel with no precise destination, just the idea of leaving and the desire to build bridges between East and West, between purists of tradition and adepts of modernity.

The group has recorded several soundtracks for films (Mon Meilleur Ami, Peau Neuve) and TV movies (Tout est Permis, Charmants Voisins...), and its music is regularly used in feature films (My Sweet Pepper Land...), trailers (Taxi Téhéran) and documentaries.

L'Attirail has also recorded several show scores (Cie Jérôme Thomas, Cie L'Eolienne...) and sound illustration albums (Kosinus Records, RFI instrumental, MYMA).

  • Izlan Ibahriyen

Chants Marins Kabyles, "Izlan Ibaḥriyen", is an atypical show that introduces us to the Kabylia of fishermen and sailors. Izlan Ibaḥriyen is also a collection of poems dedicated to the Kabylia of fishermen and sailors. In these songs, the ports of Bejaia, the coves of Tigzirt, the cliffs of Jijel, the beaches of Boumerdés and the bay of Algiers become an astonishing theatre, animated by winds, waves and legends, populated by picturesque and endearing characters who tell their extraordinary stories.
