Book Sidi Bemol - Chouf Book !

"The album "Chouf!" was released in August 2020 in the middle of the pandemic. It didn't get the media coverage it deserved and we had very few concert dates to defend it live on stage. I wanted to tell in simple words how this record was written in Algiers with the writer Sid Ahmed Semiane and how it was recorded in Box, England, with the producer Justin Adams. The story is enriched by photos taken by Ira Wiz, who accompanied the album every step of the way. I've also included the lyrics of the songs on Chouf! in phonetic Algerian Arabic, with French translations. The texts are illustrated with amazing digital paintings created in collaboration with an AI and with Arabic calligraphy. For amateur musicians, I've added simplified guitar scores.
