In this show, Sidi Bémol blends Berber, rock and Celtic sounds into a joyful and festive fusion. Hocine Boukella and his bandmates revisit songs written during the Thalweg era, pay tribute to Idir and the sailors of the Djurdjura, and create a sort of DZ-style fest-noz, blending Kabyle, Chaabi, Gnaoua and Tuareg music – a journey from Algiers to Douarnenez, from Bejaia to Brest.
An evening one might call Tizi-Breizh.
